New York Wedding – Photo of the Day

Todays photo is from a wedding I photographed last night for Darwin and Liz, a lovely couple who got married at Battery Gardens. Before the ceremony and reception we drove through Tribeca and stopped at a few of my favorite locations for some photos and we caught this shot I wanted to share. Definitely more to come from this gorgeous wedding!

Buttermilk Falls Inn, An upstate NY Wedding

There’s something really nice about getting out of the city for a wedding where the air is a little crisper and the pace slows a bit. The hustle of New York City and how a wedding feels here is awesome…there’s nothing quite like taking your bride and groom through the busy streets of New York City.. But I do love me some Hudson Valley/upstate NY weddings (I know its not REALLY upstate but to New Yorkers it is!)

Michelle and Nolly were married at Buttermilk Falls Inn last year and from start to finish this was a wonderful day that I got to be a part of.  Amazing food, people, and dancing with this one. Michelle looked so lovely and I love how Nolly braved the summer heat and wore a full blow tux! Enjoy the photos.

New York City Destination Wedding

Today I wanted to share a photo from the wedding I did a few years back with Oliver & Joanna, who came over from England to have their destination wedding in New York City. They started with a ceremony in Central Park and then we took some time to go through the city taking photos and ended up down by the Brookyn Bridge where I captured this moment with them. We had a wonderful time taking photos and I was glad to be a part of their day.

NYC Wedding Photography – 3 West Club

I love photographing weddings at the 3 West Club in NYC and one of the reasons is because you have access to all of these great New York City landmarks within walking distance.. Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, and of course right across the street Rockefeller Center, which looks beautiful in the winter with the ice rink.  Jenn and Ethan were so much fun to work with last weekend I can’t wait to go through the rest of the photos but wanted to share this one today.

New York City Engagement Photography – Photo of the Day

This couple came to me all the way from Brazil to have a weekend in New York City and get their engagement photos taken. We had a wonderful time traversing through Central Park and Grand Central Station.  One of my favorites was a few minutes we spent incorporating a cab into the shot. We’ve been talking back and forth so hopefully the next time I share more photos from this couple is from their wedding in Brazil, that sounds like a dream destination wedding for a photographer!
