Central Park Boathouse Wedding – A fall wedding in Central Park

This gorgeous Central Park wedding saw beautiful Anna and the Will celebrate a day they will never forget. The ceremony was at the amazing All Souls Church on the Upper East Side..it was really stunning and in a beautiful moment at the end of the ceremony (both for everyone in attendance and me as a photographer) they shut the lights off and handed out candles to everyone. It was my first time shooting at All Souls Church and I really enjoyed my experience there.

Anna and Will had a Jewish wedding with a Chupa and Kketubah signing. After the ceremony we headed to the Central Park Boathouse for an elegant evening of laughing, dancing, and dinner with a few cocktails of course.  There were some really touchings speeches. Anna is a successful playwright and Will is an attorney so naturally their relatives spoke quite eloquently. I think we (thank you to my talented second photographer John Morgali) captured some really special moments for Anna and Will I wish you both a long and exciting life together. There’s really nothing like a fall wedding in New York City.. enjoy it!

Commitment Ceremony – The beautiful wedding of Dawn and Jennifer

What’s better than one beautiful bride? Well how about two of them! I had the good fortune to photograph a commitment ceremony/wedding this past fall at the Le Parker Meridien hotel. Dawn found me through the online wedding world as she runs a wonderful blog called The Alternative Bride, which is a beautiful wedding website. We started out with a fun engagement session together which is here if you want to see a few of the photos.

About the wedding day: the weather was a gorgeous fall day so we walked into Central Park to take a few photos before the ceremony, which also took place in Le Parker Meridien (really lovely place for a wedding). Every detail of the day was perfectly planned and executed. The vows, the food, the table settings, and especially the people all came together to create an amazing wedding. It was really a great day.. check out a few photos.

Central Park Wedding

Where do I start with this amazing wedding. If I had to describe Sydney I’d say she was totally elegant, graceful, and of course made a beautiful bride as you can see. James made for a handsome, classy groom. The wedding ceremony took place in Central Park and then a small intimate dinner was held at one of New York City’s most prestigious restaurants, Thomas Keller’s Per Se. The party did not end there though, it actually went across the bridge into Brooklyn, where a larger reception was held at Chesnut, a restaurant in my neighborhood!

It was a beautiful fall day filled with joy and laughter and I tried to capture the most amazing wedding photographs I could..I think I got a few nice one’s so lets get to it (I put a lot in here I was having a hard time leaving any of my favorites out!).
